JAMES BULLINGHAM - FOUNDER AND DIRECTOR
FOLLOWING MY UNIVERSITY STUDIES IN CONSUMER PSYCHOLOGY, I DOVE HEADFIRST INTO THE WORLD OF DIRECT MARKETING AS A DOOR-TO-DOOR SALESMAN, WORKING ON BEHALF OF MONEY EXPERT, HELPING SAVE IN TOTAL SEVERAL HUNDREDS OF THOUSAND OF POUNDS IN ENERGY BILLS FOR CUSTOMERS. REGULARLY EARNING THE SPOT OF TOP SALESMAN IN THE COUNTRY, I BEGAN TEACHING HUNDREDS OF OTHERS HOW TO ETHICALLY AND EFFECTIVELY SELL PRODUCT OVER THE COURSE OF TWO YEARS AS A CAMPAIGN MANAGER.
IN NEED OF A WIDER BASE OF KNOWLEDGE I TRANSITIONED TO A MARKETING MANAGER ROLE FOR A LARGE SCALE MUSIC VENUE, STRATEGISING AND DEVELOPING MARKETING CAMPAIGNS ALONGSIDE INDUSTRY EXPERTS FOR SOME OF THE BIGGEST BRANDS AND ARTISTS IN THE MUSIC INDUSTRY SUCH AS:
CARDI B, BUGZY MALONE, CHASE & STATUS, RUDIMENTAL AND HUNDREDS MORE.
IT WAS DURING THIS TIME THAT I BEGAN LEARNING THE ART OF PHOTOGRAPHY AND FILM MAKING, GAINING KNOWLEDGE FROM THE INDUSTRY’S BEST CREATIVES. THEY WERE KIND ENOUGH TO SHARE THEIR EXPERTISE WITH ME AS I DEVELOPED THE CREATIVE BREIFS FOR HUNDREDS OF CAMPAIGNS IN ORDER TO FILL THE 3500 CAPACITY VENUE WITH EVERYTHING FROM CONCERTS, MUSIC FESTIVALS, FOOD SHOWS, ART EXHIBITIONS AND SPORTING EVENTS.
INBETWEEN JOBS, I WOULD TAKE VIDEOGRAPHY WORK IN EVERY SECTOR IMAGINABLE, FROM NIGHTCLUBS TO RESTAURANTS, COMBAT SPORTS SHOWS, GYMS, CLOTHING BRANDS, CONSTRUCTION AND EDUCATION. IN ADDITION TO GAINING MY COMMERCIAL DRONE PILOT LICENCE AND BUILDING A SUPPLY OF CAMERAS, LENSES, LIGHTING AND AUDIO EQUIPMENT IN ORDER TO PRODUCE THE ABSOLUTE HIGHEST QUALITY OF WORK, AS WELL AS ATTENDING WORKSHOPS AND SEMINARS FROM THE INDUSTRY’S MOST HIGHLY REGARDED CREATIVES, SUCH AS JAKE HICKS, EZRA COHEN, PAUL XAVIER AND CHRIS DO.
SEVERAL YEARS LATER, I WAS GIVEN THE OPPORTUNITY TO BECOME A FULL TIME FASHION PHOTOGRAPHER, TRAVELING THE COUNTRY, SHOOTING EVERYTHING FROM E-COMMERCE TO BEAUTY AND HIGH FASHION.
IN THE YEARS THAT HAVE FOLLOWED, I HAVE CONTINUED TO DRIVE THE BUSINESS FORWARD AND BUILD A NETWORK OF FELLOW PHOTOGRAPHERS, FILM MAKERS, DRONE PILOTS AND GRAPHIC DESIGNERS TO FULFIL CONTRACTS, RETAINERS AND ONE OFF COMMISSIONS WITH HUNDREDS OF BRANDS EVERY YEAR.
